Welcome

New House Foundation Ministries

New House Foundation Ministries is the ministry of Gwen Thomas.  This website contains articles and writings in two different areas: 1) U.S. historical events as seen from a Biblical perspective, and 2) spiritual aspects of current events (primarily in the U.S.).  These articles are intended to provide born-again Christians and other interested individuals with a better understanding of our history, current events and Christian walk.  Below is a list of articles found on this website.

To read the summary of any article, click on the navigation bar at the top of this page to go to the summaries.  Specific articles can be accessed either from the summary of the article or directly by clicking on the specific article in the below lists of articles.

Spiritual Perspectives of U.S. History

Spiritual Aspects of the 2008 and 2012 Presidential Elections

Years ago the LORD quickened me to two verses of Scripture that pertain to the information on this website:

“Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand).”(Jeremiah 33:3, Amplified Bible), and

“The LORD gives the word [of power]; the women who bear and publish [the news] are a great host.” (Psalms 68:11, Amplified Bible)

What the LORD was saying was that not only would I freely be given knowledge in areas that He would have me to understand, but also that I was to freely share this knowledge with others.  Accordingly and unless the LORD directs otherwise, the articles on the spiritual perspectives of U.S. history will eventually be published in book form; however, this same information will first appear on this website free to all interested parties.

This site is a "work in progress" with new articles added periodically as they become available.
